Create  a rectangle outline

1. select rectangle tool in tool bar
   
2. click workpath with pen(second one) from top tool bar
3. draw rectangle  dragging mouse
4. Ctrl ENTER
   
5. Select Edit > >  Stroke
6. Set width and color
7. Ctrl D to deselect
